Freshly Funded AirGateway Brings Its NDC Pipes To Life Through Agent Interface

If you build it, they will come ... if you also build something else that makes more sense to them.

This is the lesson learned by one startup aiming to take advantage of disruption in airline distribution. Berlin-based AirGateway, originally making a business out of creating New Distribution Capability-compliant connectivity, is about to launch an agent interface.

In testing with a handful of travel agencies in Europe and due for release next month, the graphical point-of-sale tool connects agents to AirGateway's 14 participating "NDC" airlines . . .
