The disparity in what the largest travel management companies pay men and women really doesn’t amount to much, according to the firms. Data reported to the government of the United Kingdom tells a different story, at least for their employees there.
American Express Global Business Travel said its U.K. gender pay report painted a misleading picture; CWT said a third-party audit found no difference in what it pays men and women in like roles; and BCD Travel said it was proud to have reduced its gap, while acknowledging more work to do.
