Incoming BCD Travel SVP Andy Menkes

According to a BCD announcement sent to The Company Dime, he will be responsible for growing the TMC’s global market share by working with BCD’s leadership teams and corporate clients. He will report to BCD Travel COO and Americas region president Mike Janssen.

Menkes has a had long career as an airline manager, and acclaimed travel buyer, a TMC executive and a consultant. He founded Partnership Travel Consulting in 2001.

“Having spent the last 18 years helping travel buyers from the consultant perspective address a broad scope of challenges — including sourcing travel management companies, I’m now eager to leverage the capabilities that a truly global TMC brings to the table,” according to a prepared statement from Menkes.

Partnership Travel Consulting’s future was not immediately clear. [UPDATE, June 8, 2018: Menkes told The Company Dime that “the PTC team is going to discuss reconnecting as a group under a different brand name than PTC. PTC as we know it will discontinue after finishing out any existing client engagements, that of course I won’t be part of for obvious reasons.”]
