The first crop of business travel startups is maturing.
Upside and 30SecondsToFly took on investments by Flight Centre. ARC bought into BlockSkye. Pana and Lola hooked up with big travel management companies. TravelBank, TravelPerk and TripActions are plugging away. ETA, Freebird, Mozio, Lumo and WhereTo are doing their thing. New ones keep coming, from Gallop, SalesTrip and PSNGR1 to CapTrav and Tripkicks.
Corporate travel remains attractive to investors as it's still a solid economy, though perhaps a little less robust than before.
How about we list a handful of startups and get some experts to assess their chances on a conference call? Again.
Here's a recording of the first version of this event, held about a year ago and featuring Tony D'Astolfo, Brian Harniman and Ellen Keszler.
