The Global Business Travel Association is investigating possible accounting irregularities at its Denver-based chapter.
"GBTA currently is working to understand and address concerns associated with the Rocky Mountain Business Travel Association," according to a statement provided last week by the national organization. "Until we have a fuller understanding of the issues involved, we are unable to comment."
Attorneys retained by GBTA "for the specific purpose of investigating allegations of irregularity" — according to a draft letter dated in April and obtained by The Company Dime — intended to ask GBTA's accounting firm . . .
