Kayak Mum On Possible Efforts ‘For Business’

Kayak press officials have not responded to requests for comment, but informed sources described a possible business travel solution that would mix negotiated corporate airfares with public results for logged-in users.

The concept borrows from what suppliers do with SAP Concur's TripLink. Connecting the supplier’s loyalty program to a traveler's Concur profile allows supplier websites to deliver the proper corporate rates. TripLink also captures booking data for reporting purposes.

Kayak For Business would also point travelers to supplier sites to make bookings. It's not clear . . .
