Seven-year-old Rocketrip has a new home. The company that popularized incentive programs to encourage travelers to beat benchmark trip costs now is part of Mondee Holdings. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Describing itself as the "world’s largest airfare wholesaler," privately held Mondee has a dozen or so companies in its portfolio, including several fare consolidators. It offers to travel agencies a set of technologies for accessing, booking and managing consolidator and private airfares.

According to a Mondee official, "the Rocketrip brand will be the cornerstone of our enhanced corporate service . . .
