Shawn Zimmerman left Kellogg North America, where he was vice president of human resources, and joined Rocketrip as a strategic advisor. Kellogg signed on to use Rocketrip last year and began rolling it out in January.

According to a Rocketrip announcement, Zimmerman implemented the business travel budgeting and rewards platform at Kellogg “to attract and retain top talent while also significantly reducing company travel costs.”

Kellogg Company senior director of corporate services Cecile Mutch admitted she was skeptical of the strategy, but then saw the benefits.

Rocketrip appointed Zimmerman to help with growth, attract Fortune 500 clients and serve on the board of advisors.

Before Kellogg, Zimmerman worked in human resources at several other large companies.
