Accessing Sabre’s New Hotel Content Will Be Easier Said Than Done

Sabre expects to soon deliver to travel management company subscribers more efficient access to over a million hotel properties through its Content Services for Lodging program. Just like moving to application programming interfaces related to NDC, implementation takes a lot of work.

DataArt, a tech consultancy and software builder, this month announced a Sabre-validated accelerator to help TMCs access rates and inventory through CSL. The reasons this is not plug-and-play speak to how challenging it is to modernize global distribution systems.
