The Global Business Travel Association recently adopted guidelines for its board of directors and Allied Leadership Council to address diversity aspirations.
According to a GBTA press official, the board and the ALC "must have at least one female director and one director who self-identifies as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, Asian, Native American or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, two or more races or ethnicities, or as LGBTQ+." The association "will continue to assess other leadership groups across committees and strategic advisory boards going forward . . .
