Sold On Off-Channel Booking Capture? Here Are Additional Considerations

BCD Travel this year rolled out a new database of trip records independent of the traditional global distribution system passenger name record. Available in nearly all markets globally, the system addresses a need to capture more sources of booking data and reservation types, and helps clean up that data so it flows seamlessly into downstream systems.

Called Total Trip Record, the approach helps BCD Travel provide services and reporting to clients even when the TMC was not involved with making the reservation.
