Altour launched a health and safety hotline for companies without in-house or third-party travel risk management expertise. The 24/7 service is available to Altour client travelers and travel managers via phone, email or SMS for a flat, annual fee the company described as "nominal."
Altour partnered with risk management firm Exlog Global to build the service. It provides health and safety advice, but not medical diagnoses, before and during trips.
Proactive assistance could be information about the latest travel restrictions, and state and country border policies, including ever-changing rules around quarantines . . .
