Coronavirus Fears Bite At Business Travel

A U.S.-based, multinational retailer with a household name has banned all international travel to reduce risk from the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Other organizations have suspended most or all travel in and out of the most heavily affected areas, which now include Italy, South Korea and Japan as well as China. So far this quarter, according to Sabre, bookings through GDSs are down by percentages in the mid-teens.
