Deem Signs Former GetThere Clients Apple, Toyota For Online Booking Technology

Deem picked up online booking contracts with Apple and Toyota — big wins for a company that's had plenty of ups and downs. 

Acquired by Enterprise Holdings last year, Deem powers the car rental company's small business site and is a key tech provider to other ground transportation firms. I saw a demo of Deem back at the end of last Summer when I was looking at OBTs. In my opinion, it was lackluster. I am really shocked that Apple would move to them unless there is some kind of partnership going on between them that will help Deem move up the ladder of innovation. The number one complaint I get from our engineers about Concur is how bulky or corporate the tool looks and feels. To me, Deem is in that same boat.
